A demolition crew meets wire in the last week of a project, when the schedule is tight and the dumpsters are already ordered. That is exactly the moment when a wire buyer is useful.
Demolition, decommissioning, plant relocation and industrial construction contractors recover cable in every condition: tray cable pulled from racks, feeders cut at the gear, service cable from a removed service, and low-voltage cable from abandoned systems. Some of it is reusable; some of it is scrap.
The difference is documented in photographs. A cut-end photo, a jacket print, and an approximate length turn an unknown pile into quotable material. Keep recovered cable separated by construction and metal where the crew can manage it — copper and aluminum mixed in one pile is priced as mixed material.
For larger decommissioning jobs, send the demolition schedule and the expected cable quantities before the wire comes down. Knowing what is coming out of a building lets the review start while the material is still accessible.

One thing worth knowing
Wire that has been burned, stripped, or mixed with non-cable scrap is outside what this site buys. Keep recovered cable in cable form and describe any contamination.
