Sizes and packaging

Common building sizes run from #14 through 1000 MCM: #14, #12, #10, #8, #6, #4, #2, #1, 1/0, 2/0, 3/0, 4/0, 250, 300, 350, 400, 500, 600, 750 and 1000 MCM. Medium-voltage cable adds voltage class to the description, and control cable adds pair or conductor count.

Packaging matters as much as size. Full reels, partial reels, wooden reels, spools, coils, cartons and loose inventory are all reviewed, and so are new surplus, unused stock, overstock, cancelled-project stock and warehouse, factory or distributor inventory.

What we do not buy

This site buys electrical wire and cable only. Transformers, switchgear, breakers, MCCs, generators, bus plugs, chillers, machinery, vehicles and general scrap are outside scope. Stripped, burned or mixed-metal material is also outside scope, because it is no longer cable.

If a lot mixes cable with gear, separate the cable and describe the rest. The cable can still be reviewed on its own.
